Dance IS A WAY OF LIFE
WE ARE CLOSED
Due to Covid-19Due to Covid-19 and the restrictions on our business, we were unable to stay open and have shut-down our location. We are deeply sad about this, but we do hope to resume dance at some point in the future. We love all of our students and their families and we treasure the time we had with each one of you. Please feel free to give us a call or email us to stay in touch.
CULTIVATING A LOVE OF THE PERFORMING ARTS
Our Classes
Join us for our fun, low-stress, non-performing classes in Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Brazilian Axe and Samba. (Ay ay ay!) You can even get a taste of Hawaii with Polynesian and Hula. (Chee Hoo!) Of course we wouldn’t be true to our Texas roots if we didn’t offer opportunities to brush up on your country and line dancing. (Yeehaw!)

Our Foundation
Our owner/director is also a highly trained fitness instructor who understands the value of a well-conditioned body for a dancer. This is why we offer classes that will increase our students’ endurance and flexibility, strengthen and solidify their cores, and provide a powerful punch to their performances. These programs are not only beneficial to dancers, but to everyone, and are available to all at a most affordable rate.
Our Location
Our building is conveniently located directly across the street from Jourdanton High School. Atascosa County, we are here to serve your diverse dance needs – not only Jourdanton, Pleasanton, and Poteet, but also Charlotte, Tilden, Leming, Lytle, Devine, and even Primrose and San Antonio’s south side can make the easy trek down (or up) Hwy 16 where you will find owners and staff who are eager and excited to incorporate new students into our classes, year-round. This location is equipped with three separate studios to maximize productivity for all. Studio A is utilized for music lessons and is equipped with an indoor window – for the intrigued peepers. Studio B is covered in Marley flooring and is used for smaller-sized dance classes. Our massive Studio C boasts a custom-made, state-of-the-art, floating, wood-sprung dance floor. It has been specifically designed and constructed to accommodate the needs of tumbling space with impact-absorption. Our dancers’ joints are also protected whether they leap and bound or pound their beautiful, intrinsic folklorico footwork into the floor. Seriously, Studio C is great.
Another experience that sets apart the Texas Dance Culture studio is our inviting lounge, where family can wait comfortably, relax, snack, watch TV, do homework, or just play, while their loved ones are provided with a wonderful foundation and diversified education of the fine arts.
See The Difference
At Texas Dance Culture we aim to provide our students with solid dance fundamentals, but beyond that, we aim to create and maintain a positive and challenging yet fun environment. As a brand new budding business, we recognize the multitude of genres we could potentially introduce to our students in the future, like traditional ballroom, Latin ballroom, and even flamenco, and we most definitely plan to continually expound our students’ dance knowledge. In fewer words: more dance genres to come! This being our third season, we have yet to form any competitive teams, but we know this could be a wonderful goal for our company. Even then, our first priority will always be training and equipping our students, who are the legacy of our community. Awards and trophies are motivating and fun, but skill, knowledge, and wisdom are invaluable.
Texas Dance Culture Performing Arts Studio aims to impact our community in a dynamic and meaningful way. Our vision is to be a haven where students grow a passion for the arts. Our goal is to expose our students to various forms of dance and music, and train them well while providing parents and guardians with a pleasant, family-oriented atmosphere. We wholeheartedly welcome you to experience our studio, and we look forward to inspiring and serving our community.
